I’m incredibly honored and humbled to be featured in Canvas Rebel, where I had the opportunity to share my journey of building a legacy. As the founder of Drizzle and Deaf, my mission has always been bigger than just running a business. It’s about creating something that leaves an impact, inspires others, and advocates for the Deaf community.
Building a legacy isn’t always easy. It requires vision, persistence, and the courage to embrace challenges as opportunities for growth. My path has not been without its hurdles, but each step has been a lesson in resilience, passion, and purpose. Through Drizzle and Deaf, I’m not just creating fashion and curated events, I’m building a platform that amplifies voices and fosters understanding between the Deaf and hearing communities.
In the Canvas Rebel feature, I talk about the importance of staying true to your mission while navigating the ever-changing world of entrepreneurship. It’s essential to understand that the work we do today has the power to shape the future. For me, it’s about ensuring that the Deaf community is seen, heard, and celebrated, while also challenging the norms that often leave us out.
One of the most rewarding aspects of this journey has been seeing others get inspired to join the movement. Whether it’s through our ASL courses, Deaf apparel, or curated events, I’m seeing more and more individuals engage with the Deaf community in meaningful ways.
